As our dog became increasingly ill, we turned to them for help in deciding what to do for her comfort and care. They were kind, patient and very helpful, even to the point of helping administer daily medication when our dog would no longer take it from us. When it came time to let go, they supported us and gave us ample time to say goodbye to our dog. They could not have been better for her and us at that time.

Our good experience didn't end there. It was during the kittens, well, cats third visit they were issued identification cards. Our family thought that was neat and our kids really got a kick out of them. As the staff mentioned in most houses pets are family members so why not ID cards? To be honest i've always thought that little perk added a nice personal touch.

We have just finished our 1 year check up with Dr Vicki @ Kelner Animal Hospital with gold ⭐️! We have been clients of Dr Kelner for 16 years and she and her staff have been amazing. Our first family dog, Honi, was a rescue dog and Dr Kelner gave Honi fabulous care for 15 years, helped Honi deal with a thyroid issue a torn ACL that we did physical therapy on at home/her instructions and experience provided Honi with a wonderful healing process for an older dog. When her kidneys began failing she offered advice on multiple options and supported our decision for euthanasia and allowed us to be with her thru the end of life. During this process we experienced the death of a family member and we used their boarding service and it was a wonderful experience for our dog and us the staff accommodated our schedule and always treated Honi as a queen. We have been subsequently rescued by another dog, Ben, and the staff and Dr Vicki have been so helpful, you forget a lot in 15 years with a puppy. They have always provided accurate information with sound reasoning and call to check up on us. We have referred friends and family to Dr Kelner and would not hesitate a minute to ask for advice and follow her sound educated recommendations . We have left our puppy with their boarding when he was 4 months old and he loves them and going to the office in fact today he met his first feline friend there and all went well! Plus they are very reasonably priced!!!

I just want people to be aware of an incident that happened to me that I still have no words to describe why me and my dog were treated in a way that made us feel speechless. I wanted to have a second opinion for my dog that hurt his knee so I called and made an appointment. The person I talked to was very helpful and decided to give them a try. I have a beautiful family loving American Bulldog. I walked into the clinic and noticed 3 or 4 staff members looked at me and said nothing. I actually had to start a conversation to be noticed in which made me feel a bit odd. I was the only customer in the clinic st the time. I decided to just blow this off and wanted to just focus on the quality of service for my dog, my hopes were high. To be honest in most vet clinics when you walk in they would at least notice my big beautiful dog that I have and make him feel welcome. So anyway I waited to be seen and went into a cold dirty room with bugs crawling on the floor. I had to flick them off my dog, but I was there for the great vet service that I was promised on the phone. Well I filled out the paperwork and waited for the vet to come and talk to me. The door opened and a lady opens the door and never introduces herself to me or my dog which I found unsettling . She looks at my dog and me with an angry look on her face and stated "I need to be honest with you", I`m thinking great a vet that gets right to the point and can help my dog. She stated, oh and please remember I still did not get a introduction or she has never seen my dog before. She stated your dog has a problem. "he is angry and a unpredictable dog and has serious issues". She must be a psychic because she never has seen my dog before and he never barked one time from the time we entered the clinic. At this point I was feeling a bit uneasy because her voice was raising. I was feeling uncomfortable as well as my dog. I decided to stand up and begin to walk out of the examination room in complete shock while not saying a word. As I walked out the door The vet who is the owner of the clinic said we can help him if you want us too. At this point I just wanted to leave in case she got more angry and decided to throw something at me. I started to leave and one of the customers came up to me and said what a beautiful dog and I stated thank you. My dog walked over to his cats cage and licked the cat on the head. Wow some killer dog I have. I still don`t know why the vet was acting so strange and bazaar. I decided to go to my original vet down the road and I was so relieved when I walked in and said "hi how are you and good to see you again". I thought I was dreaming and felt better. I decided to make an appointment, my dog may not feel better yet I sure was happy. Please do not bring any animal to this vet. They treat animals this bad in front of the owner I can`t think about how it would be if you ever had to leave your loving pet.

To anyone reading this I can’t recommend Kelner Animal Hospital enough.

I brought my cat here who is currently living with my parents. Dr. Kelner gave out extensive notes and handouts and took her time to answer questions on the phone. She is very caring and wants the best for your pet. I have gone to quite a few Vets in the area and the level of interaction that she provided is second to none I highly recommend her.

I want to share the experience my family and I have had with Kelner Animal Hospital. Four years ago my family and I adopted a pair of kittens; a brother and sister we named Peanut and Pickles. Within the very first day we realized Pickles was sick observing both worms and very painful stools and it was heartbreaking every time Pickles went to the litterbox hearing her howling in pain. We brought her in to see Dr Kelner and we prayed her and her staff would be able to help. While the worms were an easy matter to address Dr. Kelner still had to figure out the painful stools. Pickles may have had a simple blockage so the staff gave her an enema and prescribed giving her a laxative but her painful stools remained after a couple days. After receiving an x-ray it was revealed our little Pickles had a condition known as megacolon. As she hadn't been exposed to this particular condition before Dr Kelner spent several hours of her own free time researching on both public forums and consulting with colleagues. After prescribing a pair of medications we anxiously monitored our kitten for the next several days and I can happily report her turnaround was miraculous! She was no longer in pain and she became a normal, healthy kitten.

I have been going to Kelner Animal Hospital for well over ten years now first when I brought my five (yes, five!) dogs in and now with the cats and I've always found the service top notch and very professional. Anyone who speaks to Dr Kelner or her staff will quickly understand they have a driving passion for animal care. Amazingly the staff has always remembered all of our pets names and we could tell because there were times we had to bring them in without an appointment. Over the years I’ve even been witness to many animals they’ve taken in as clinic pets because they had nowhere else to go. I can’t think of another clinic with the same sense of purpose.
